We are delighted to announce our first series of cooking classes at our location on Greenwood in collaboration with Caffe’ Musica. Classes will be taught by our great chef Leeann Tesorieri.
Gnocchi di Patate: Fast, easy, delicious! Learn how to make traditional gnocchi di patate and gnocchi verdi. While the gnocchi are cooking, you’ll also learn to make a creamy gorgonzola sauce to accompany the gnocchi verdi. Then we’ll sit down to eat this delicious pasta together with a green salad and light dessert.

Tagliatelle con Ragú Bolognese: Learn how to make classic egg pasta, rolling out with a “matterello” as well as with a pasta machine. You’ll also learn how to make a traditional ragú bolognese, the staple pasta sauce in Emilia Romagna. Tagliatelle are ribbon noodles similar to fettuccine. We’ll talk about various pasta shapes and why certain sauces “go” with specific shapes and not with others while enjoying the tagliatelle, a green salad and light dessert.

Strozzapreti con Funghi: We will continue to perfect the egg pasta above but this time learn a new shape. There’s a great story connected to this pasta which translates to “priest strangler”. Learn to make a rich mushroom sauce with just a hint of spice and enjoy a delicious meal. Includes salad and dessert.

Stricchetti con Prosciutto e Spinaci: Egg pasta again as we continue to develop our pasta making techniques but now you’ll learn a new twist as you add spinach to make green pasta. Another new shape: you’ve probably had this before (also called “farfalle” or bow ties) but not in its fresh form. We’ll toss these in a quick prosciutto, butter and spinach sauce – delicate and delicious! Includes salad & dessert.
