If you gather with a group of Italians, almost certainly you will end up talking about food and wine. “Vino” and “Cibo” are so important in the Italian culture! It is a way to build relationships, strong family bonds, great friendships and everlasting memories.
For this reason, we try to organize Food & Wine events during the year which bring a bit of Italy to the PNW.
1. Cooking classes
We held a series of “Pasta 101” classes in 2017. Students learned to make pasta from scratch and enjoyed the fruits of their labor over a glass of wine at Cafe Musica!

2. Wine walk – “Vino around the Village” and “Sparkling Stroll”
Il Punto! in collaboration with Country Village in Bothell organizes Vino around the Village in October, an event where you can taste over 40 select Italian wines from different regions such as Trentino Alto Adige, Sardinia, Apulia, Sicily, Veneto, Lazio, Piedmont, Umbria, Tuscany, etc. and purchase TAX FREE your favorite bottles at Il Punto’s wine store that night!
The Sparkling Stroll is held every May the Saturday before Mother’s Day and features a large selection of prosecco as well as many fine Italian wines.
Gather with friends, stroll from shop to shop and enjoy fabulous Italian wines. Wines are also on sale tax free! Money will be used to provide funding for the Association activities.
3. Wine tasting
We organize tasting events so you can learn about all the different Italian wines that il bel paese offers.
4. Aperitivo in the city
Italian friends working in the city or nearby, join us for our Aperitivo! It’s an opportunity to meet new people and have a lot of fun “all’italiana”! We will provide some snacks, while you can purchase some great beer at the bar.
5. Annual fundraising dinner
Members and non members are invited to join us at our annual fundraising dinner to taste some real Italian food, meet our volunteers and become part of our energetic group.
If you want to help in the organization with any of these events please contact us.
