Iconic Italian Songs - the '60s and the Bobby Solo phenomenon

Third appointment on Zoom on the main protagonists of the Sanremo Festival for each decade, curated by Marcello DiPaolantoni. In this session, Marcello will talk about the '60s decade, singer Bobby Solo and the song Zingara.

What to expect

Each session will explore a different decade of Sanremo music Festival, providing historical context, lyrical deep dives, and, of course, a chance to listen to the songs that have defined generations. Sessions will be primarily in English, with original Italian lyrics that will be commented.

• Open discussion and Q&A
• Duration: about 1 hour

Zoom Events Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend a session, please notify the organizer at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions can be rebooked at no additional cost for a date within the next available Zoom meetings in the schedule. Please send an email to conversation@ilpuntoseattle.org

No rebooking will be provided if the organizer is not notified at least 24 hours prior to the session. Notifications made after the session date will not qualify for a rebooking.
