In Italian folklore, the Befana is a good witch who travels on her magic broomstick and brings children candy and other presents on the night of January 5th, the eve of the Epiphany.  It is now a tradition for Il Punto to host a Festa della Befana where children learn about this Italian folklore character and meet the Befana in person as she hands out sweets and small presents. The Befana is one of our most popular events for the whole family! Non mancate!

When does the Befana arrive? We host the party around the 6th of January every year. Check back on this page or our event calendar in the fall, when we usually firm up the exact date for this fun event. 

This year la Befana will arrive on Sunday, Jan 5th, 2025 at Casa Italiana.
