Itinerario poetico con Mario Cazzanti
This is an opportunity for a great event.
The event described here is part of the collaboration of "Il Punto" and DA Society of Seattle and is offered with free admission, using RSVP.
The journey “From Andalusia to Ukraine” designed by M. Cazzanti and M. Zuccari stems from an idea discussed during Marco's visit to Seattle and Portland last October.
The set of poems by the proposed poets not only offers a pleasant listening accompanied by touching music, but also launches an appeal and a Wish for Peace and understanding for the countries involved in wars
The disappointment and sometimes excruciating pain of poets over wars always becomes an anthem for Peace.
The presentation will be in Italian. During the recitative part, the verses will be projected on the screen and a booklet will also be available to participants with additional information on poems and on the lives of poets.
We will start with Garcia Lorca and his masterpiece “Il lamento di Ignazio”, which is the song of friendship and the pain of the loss of a friend, followed by S. Quasimodo, Nobel Prize winner for literature, who with a desperate cry condemns the war and we will end with Shevchenko, symbol of the national identity of his Ukraine.
Time of the Event 6:00 pm: opening
6:30 pm: appetizers and food will be offered
7:30 - 830 pm: Presentation and Q&A.
Large participation recommended. This is our cry for Peace.
